Biking in Toronto has become safer since I arrived in 2013. As someone who has been doored, and crashed into by cars prior to the safe bike lanes installed, I can’t think of a worse outcome for a city who’s citizens want to be safe. I am a driver with my G and I am certain that they feel safer with bikers in their own lanes rather than taking up the driving lanes.
