As a component of our LEGUP Wealth pillar, Brothers Who Care is committed to breaking down the systemic barriers that have historically limited access to homeownership for Black communities. The Inclusive initiative is an exceptional example of how community-first, affordable housing projects can transform the landscape of homeownership, creating lasting economic opportunities. By providing 1,314 affordable and attainable homes, The Inclusive not only addresses the urgent need for housing but also supports long-term wealth-building in Black communities.
We strongly support The Inclusive as it aligns with our mission to empower Black families with the tools and resources they need to build generational wealth. The integration of financial literacy programs, down payment assistance, and community-centric development ensures that these homes will be more than just a place to live—they will be a pathway to economic mobility. By prioritizing access for Black homebuyers and fostering stability through affordable housing, The Inclusive offers a model that can help close the wealth gap and lay the foundation for stronger, more resilient communities. We encourage all stakeholders to support this transformative initiative and contribute to building an inclusive future for all.
