Please do not remove the Environmental Assessment Requirements. This location is home to several native species and is 1 km away from a town. This is neither an ideal location nor a plausible one. The owner of this location was previously fined for using it and should never have been approved for a dump in the first place. Please do not disregard small-town people's lives. Tariffs are not a good excuse to disregard the health of our ecosystem. This will affect up to 30 separate species, several of which are endangered. Do not revoke Ontario Regulation 284/24. Tariffs do not change the fact this site needs an EA. It is still a Part II.3 project. This site should under no circumstances be exempt from requirements. This is not an existing landfill site and the local roads will not sustain heavy traffic. In addition, if a noise assessment is done, I believe that this site would instantly fail.
