Thinking that this approach puts development and economic gain over protection and long term conservation efforts.

Wildlife and it's related habitats are fragile and once disturbed they are vulnerable.

If disturbed or altered by the onset of development, even when mitigation efforts are put in place, they rarely recover.

Please reverse this direction of government and put protection and conservation first as a priority.

I would add that endangered species protection also should be under the responsibility of the Ministry of Natural Resources where it was originally for years.

It is not the right fit to be responsibly governed by the Ministry of the Environment.
