Removing the requirement for the environmental assessment is unethical and flat out dangerous. There is a good reason why an environmental assessment was issued in the first place. Building a landfill less than a km from a community is illegal and dangerous. It does not make any sense for it to be built in Dresden where it is half hour away from the highway. There would be trucking coming through Dresden daily ruining our small town community.
