This is a farce of a proposal that is in no way based on any biological science or evidence. The purpose of this legislation is clearly to bulldoze environmental protections in favour of development, and would be disastrous from an ecological perspective. Canada’s natural and environmental resources are one of our greatest treasures, and once we destroy them we cannot get them back.

I do not support the passing of this bill, because I will not stand for the careless destruction of wildlife and keystone habitats that contribute to the health of our lands.
