The Sydenham River has many at-risk species which must be protected. The threat to this river is in danger by this proposed landfill.

Not only the species in the attached article, but the town of Dresden lies in a flood zone. Releasing more drainage into the river via Molly’s Creek would put many homes in danger. This watershed suffers when we have heavy rains and added water would be dangerous.

This community also does not have the infrastructure to maintain a high volume of vehicles.
