Please take a second to think how you would feel if there was a dump being proposed 800m from where you live, where your children go to school, where you worship, hang out with friends and where maybe three cars go past your house, on a daily basis! If you saw the surrounding area to the sight, you would see flat, pristine farmland, a creek, trees, birds, wildflowers and a lazy river that flows through the heart of this little, quiet community!
-Yes, landfills are a necessary part of our world, just not here!
-No, waste materials sent to the U.S. are not tariffed!
-Farms feed people! We have the richest, flattest land in Canada, for growing food! Why would you destroy that?
-This is a no-brainer! It just doesn’t make any logical sense!
-When you factor in $$$$$ and not really giving a damn, then it makes perfect sense!
