I am very disappointed on…

I am very disappointed on this proposal to remove environmental assessment requirements for York 1 waste disposal site project.
We take pride in our community by being environmentally friendly, beautifying our small town "Communities in Bloom" and sharing with our Ontario friends our infamous Dresden Christmas Town, Dresden Night Market for both winter and summer.
We care about our children , the dangers of a major highway going through our town which is very busy with no traffic lights near our public school and our high school which both are facing this major highway 21 which is the same highway where this proposed landfill would be.
To remove environmental assessment just for the sake of meeting the "tariff" incident which will probably be rectified by our new prime minister, is jumping the gun to address something that will be sorted out.
Please think about our small town, the people in it, the farmers who feed our province, the creeks and rivers that feed our beautiful Great Lakes!
I oppose this proposal along with my whole family who were born and raised here in this community.
