As a resident of Dresden, I am deeply concerned about the possibility of a dump in our small town's back yard. The callousness of Doug Ford...whom I voted for.....and his lack of caring is beyond me. He has zero care for our small town which is so similar to many other small towns in Ontario he has zero care for our environmental our agricultural community. Zero care for the thousands of trucks which will roll through our tiny town with one stop light and ruin our roads, our country air, and disrupt the entire community. Zero care for the children who walk back and forth to school and the pedestrians that line our street while trucks roll by. None of the big politicians have taken the time or care to think about the impact this dump will have on our entire community. Surely there are better options for a dump site then at the edge of our beautiful town. How can Ford make such a snap decision without considering consequences for those who live here? We need this environment assessment to show this area is beyond unsuitable for a dump and that our environment will beyknd negatively impacted by a dump. As a citizen of Dresden I pray and hope our political leaders and police makers take the time and energy to read off these comments and consider how they would feel with the prospect of a dump in their back yard. Its absolutely maddening, frustrating and leaves me with an absolute lack of hope in our provincial governance.
