One of my biggest concerns…

One of my biggest concerns with this project is the plan to add 700 truck trips per day to our local roads. That’s not just traffic—that’s a serious safety issue.

We all know who’s driving many of these trucks. Too often, they come into our area without the proper experience to safely operate on rural roads. I’ve seen it firsthand. They speed, they miss signs, they take corners too fast—and now we’re expected to live with 700 more of those vehicles every single day?

Our kids deserve to be protected. Families in this community rely on these roads to get to school, to sports, to work. The roads should be safe—not turned into a high-risk corridor to benefit an outside company.

Before this project moves ahead, a full Environmental Assessment must be done. Our safety and our children's safety must come first.
