Good Afternoon,

I am a resident of Dresden, Ontario. I would like to make a comment on the York One proposed dump. This dump will have an overwhelming negative impact on the town of Dresden, the county of Chatham-Kent and surrounding communities.

If the government is willing to consider money over people’s lives, why not allow York One to purchase a new piece of land, that is not so close to a community, so close to vital water source, to develop their dump. A site that is closer to Toronto where the majority of waste is coming from.

I feel the governments position is incredibly short sighted, trying to push this project through under the guise of standing up to the USA tariffs.

Please reconsider and enforce the environmental laws. Our community is worth more than this dump.
