from what i understand about the cormorant is that it eats fish in large quantites destroying the fish other fish feed on hence reducing the salmon in particular...i dont remember this bird when i was growing up ....i dont see nothing wrong with this proposal on the killing of these birds...there will always be some...cant wipe out the species totally
