Please don’t pass the interim amendments to the Endangered Species Act and the Species Conservation Act. I am opposed to the fast tracking of government projects without consideration for the environment and wildlife living on lands in question. Once endangered species are put at risk the harder it will be to protect them in the future. We are not owners of the land. We need to be in tune with nature and respect it in all its forms. We have taken enough habitat from animals and plants.
Planning and development must take the necessary steps to ensure the survival of endangered species and conservation of species.
