This proposal is not an expansion of a landfill because this Fly Ash Dump from 1980 was closed down 43 years ago.
Its last use was a bomb Disposal / Gun Range for Chatham Kent Police.
Your 1 has been lying to the Ministry- There NEEDS to be an environmental Assessment on this property to prove there is so much methane gas under this property and the aquifers run under Dresden, There is not enough clay layer to put that large of a project there,

Please read the attached information as this is from York1s own documents and this proves this is NOT the place to put such a mega project because it will blow up ALL of Dresden.
The health affects caused by this proposal will be astronomical to the citizens of Dresden because this proposed land is less than 500 meters from our Townline- homes and businesses and 800 meters from the high school
The previous Min of Environment stated You already know of the concerns of Dresden and the damages this will cause this town, but after the owners of York1 paid this government over $200,000 in donations for the past few years, This government is showing the don't care about their own laws which state New landfills must be 3.5 Km away from civilization.
Again This proposed site is LESS THAN 500 METERS from this town,
How can anyone live with themselves to know the dangers this government is putting their voters in?

York1 has been lying to this government and we have proof!!
York1 is using an old outdated ECA to say this is still a landfill when it is no longer been used for that
York1 has been saying from the start they will not do an E.A and now this government refuses to do what is right to saver the health of over 3000 people !

This government MPPs are NOT scientists.

You NEED scientific Proof that this landfill proposal is not the right place for this because this town WILL blow up like it did in Wheatly 3 years ago because there was gas in the water aquifers in Wheatley, and look at the damages that caused with a small aquifer.
The Aquifers under Dresden are enormous and larger than Wheatley's had.

You must realize just a few miles north of Dresden, Enbridge Gas has a 5 Billion cubic underground aquifer that could also be jeopardized by this proposal.

You need an E.A on this proposal because you have NO IDEA the harm that can happen if you dont investigate all of this NOW Before you allow York1 to start such a mega project!!

Please reconsider taking away the already approved E.A that this town has fought so hard to get!
