I was doing some research on your web site, and I don’t agree with what you are doing with this landfill.
It is not good for the environment, or the people around us with the carbon monoxide. Landfills stink, and are dangerous to the Elders, and the young kids in the small town of Dresden.

I think it is bad for the environment because it releases carbon monoxide into the air. It can also contaminate the land around the dump site. Although it contaminates the land around it, it also may contaminate the water or creek close to it.

The smell of the landfill will be a problem to the community of Dresden because the idea of a landfill is to get rid of people’s trash which is a bad smell. Especially when the landfill spot is so close to town and the high school.

A landfill in Dresden would be dangerous to the elders and young kids because it is not good for them to breathe it in because it could infect their lungs and could possibly cause cancer.

Finally, it’s bad for the wildlife because it could wreck the habitat. It can release bad toxic gasses.

So as a student at LKCS and a member of the Dresden community, I do not think that putting a landfill just outside of Dresden is a good idea, and that you should really consider not putting a landfill and start considering people’s health.
