Doug Ford said we need a solution for waste so we don't have to rely on the United States.
Does a landfill have to be that solution?
Has the government considered other options, or investigated how other countries handle their own waste?

Have they looked at Singapore before?
Singapore incinerates their waste. They can effectively capture the harmful gas so the emissions are clean, they dispose of ash in a safe way, then convert the heat generated from the incineration process into electricity.

Why not invest in this type of strategy? Keep the trash in area's away from towns and homes, ends our reliance on USA, provides another electricity source for Ontario to utilize, and can be located closer to the cities producing the waste to significantly reduce the trucking cost.

If Doug Ford wants to protect Ontario and Unleash our economy, he should do it with smart and progressive strategies. Keep Ontario moving forward, not backward..... backward is what Trump wants.
