I think that establishing a hunting season for double crested cormorants is long overdue. I have watched them off the shores of Kincardine in Lake Huron and neighbouring streams, lakes and ponds, clearing out the young of the year fish and baitfish. Since they have reappeared there has been a drastic decline in Sport-fishing. They have also destroyed all vegetation on some islands.
