I am completely opposed to this Bill, which destroys environmental protections, contravenes the rule of law, and allows for industry shortcuts without public oversight and consultation. This is completely undemocratic and harmful for the environment and Indigenous rights. This is terrible for Ontario’s future in every single way. There are no shortcuts to growth that this Bill can safely take, and the government should be ashamed for even proposing this.
