I’m strongly against the landfill being planned near Dresden. It’s way too close to where people live and I don’t think it’s right to go ahead with it without doing a full Environmental Assessment.

The EA is important. It helps make sure big projects like this don’t harm our land, water, and air. If we don’t do it, we might miss serious problems.

Lots of people in Dresden and Chatham-Kent have spoken up. Our voices should matter and it feels like this is being pushed through without listening to us.

This landfill is less than a kilometre from homes and schools. That’s not safe. There are rules saying it should be farther away and this project doesn’t follow them.

Without a full review, we don’t know what it might do to the Sydenham River, animals, or the land around it. We should protect those things, not take chances.

More trucks, bad smells, and pollution could make life worse for people living nearby, especially kids and older people.

Please stop this project unless a full EA is done. We deserve to know the truth about what this landfill could do to our town.
