As a person with a long history in mining and forestry I know first hand how these projects hurt our land and water. No amount of environmental “protection” can prevent the poisoning of the waterways that directly run into the AAN lands. Presumably, with the Bill 5 there are even less concern and consultations regarding such matters. No amount of MONEY is worth devastating what little lands and water we have left. This is very concerning and should not be taken lightly.
