I am concerned that our federal and provincial governments in Canada are not looking at the big picture. Scientific evidence shows that climate change IS affecting our world in a very negative way and we are not doing enough to allow some healing. Canada did have a goal to increase protected areas to 17%. We are far from that goal especially in southwestern Ontario. I believe that this "Open for Business Planning Tool" will make it easier to destroy more of our protected habitat. We need our green spaces for our health as well as the planet's. Please rethink your priorities before it is too late.
