We took part in the Proposed Municipal Asset Management Planning Regulation webinar today and have a unique question which we hope you can answer or forward to someone who can assist in answering.
InnServices Utilities Inc. is a Municipal Services corporation created under the Corporations Act. The subsidiary is wholly owned by The Corporation of the Town of Innisfil and provides unregulated utility services (water & wastewater). The financial statements of InnServices is consolidated into the Town’s Financial Statements on an equity method. Would the proposed municipal asset management planning regulation apply to these assets?
