Due to costly duplication of services and the overbearingness of Conservation Authorities.

Whereas the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry already provides mapping services for wetland areas;
Whereas the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks already provides oversight regarding environmental areas;
Whereas local Municipalities already provide a permit process with inspections;
Whereas various Conservation Authorities have already demonstrated a lack of financial transparency;
Whereas various court cases have demonstrated that Conservation Authorities have failed to maintain accurate maps regarding wetland areas thereby greatly increasing the cost to property owners who are then falsely prosecuted;
Whereas Conservation Authorities have enacted their own regulations thereby greatly increasing the cost to businesses and property owners in Ontario;
Therefor eliminate Conservation Authorities in Ontario.
