I disagree with making the bait distance less than what it is now. It should be even further away or not at all. What kind of "sport" is this? Bringing it closer to people in any way endangers those people because of the guns being used. Also, bears should be allowed to stay as far away as possible and be encouraged not to acclimatize to people. I also believe there should be no spring hunt as too many babies are murdered just so someone can kill a bear. This is wrong!!!! If the provincial gov't thinks this is O.K. it must fully fund the care of those babies.
