I have been to Rondeau many times and I spent many memorable summers there as a teenager. In continuing to keep it beautiful and safe, I know the cottagers as stakeholders, add a great deal of value to the experience of the park. I support the continuation of the Rondeau cottage community for the long term future. I also support the three-year lease extension as described in ERO Policy Proposal 019-0907. This lease extension should be granted automatically to all existing leaseholders. This time should be used to reach a permanent solution that will ensure the cottage community remains forever. This cottage community is an integral part of the Rondeau experience, has been for many years and because of its overall, continuing, positive influence within the park setting should be granted permanent status. If a permanent solution is reached prior to the three-year deadline, I support it being implemented as soon as possible.
