Greetings,
Joining the BWA 2 years ago has benefitted my company and my positioning within of the industry primarily by making me personally and professionally more aware and better informed of my industry.
As the business owner of a small cabinet and furniture making company in Toronto, being associated with an increasingly larger group of companies of similar and larger scale has led to our shop being better informed about several important issues:
1. The BWA acts as a conduit for sharing topics surrounding shop safety, rules and regulations associated with that critical part of our business. Shop efficiency discussion topics have lead to a cleaner, more organized and safer shop.
2. Our shop can become more competitive as a result of sharing information about the current business climate and how to work effectively and effectively. The sense that as a larger group we can be better and more competitive within our business is strong amongst our members.

There is positive momentum within this cluster ecosystem. As a business owner of almost 30 years, it has been a refreshing and energizing process getting and being involved in this BWA cluster ecosystem. The ability to share information and experience, as well as continue to learn tricks of the trade from other members is becoming an increasingly important part of my business strategy.
