I have had a Manged Forest…

I have had a Manged Forest Plan with the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP) since its inception and was part of the previous program.

I feel that this is the most important program to encourage sustainable forest management of our Ontario private forest lands.

Associations such as OWA offer their members excellent education on many facets sustainable forest management .

The OWA should be allowed to enter in to consultation with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry on ways to improve the program.

I have been a member of the OWA for more than 26 years and have found their publications and their programs extremely helpful and educational.
