As an avid harvester I support this change. I hunt black bear on the Black Bay Peninsula which is WMU 14 and is only accessible by marina access. For several years we have experienced late ice out in the spring which makes it difficult to set up a spring hunt. I would like to suggest extending the season to the end of June for WMU 14 making a spring hunt possible.
