Under no circumstances…

Under no circumstances should a facility such as this be built or operated in this location. We live on Beechgrove Dr. and the increased truck traffic through our community would destroy our peace of mind and use and enjoyment of our properties. Not to mention the possibility of toxic gas emissions. It was noted that the plant will emit at least 6 toxic and greenhouse gases including NOx, CH4, CO2, SO2, TRS and particulates. The truck traffic would also increase pollution.
Coronation Dr. is surrounded by residential communities on all sides (except south - Lake Ontario). There is no vehicular access to this site except through densely populated residential streets. The fact that this is even up for debate is extremely disturbing. We in the community will hold all government and elected officials responsible should this plan go through. A plant such as this should be located where access and egress have no impact on any residential community and is well away from said residential community to avoid any air pollution issues.
