There really needs to be a traffic assessment and public meetings about this proposal. Trucks will be required to access the site through residential areas, there is no other way to get to the site. It will cause increased traffic on both Port Union Road and Morningside Ave going south and Lawrence Ave East and West. Will the vehicles be open air vehicles? What is the impact to the parkland surrounding the area and Lake Ontario?
I have read comments that notifications of this proposal were only sent to residents within 500m of the proposed site. The impact to the greater surrounding area needs to be well understood by residents potentially impacted by transport traffic and affects to air quality in the area.
