The amount of water taken from groundwater in Hillsburg by an American company that will remove that water from the watershed is excessive.

The amount paid for the permit is way too low for such a consumptive use of water.

One million plastic bottles per minute are purchased world wide and the plastic bottles are a huge source of plastic pollution.

This water is required by the local muncipality for drinking water for now and certainly for the future.

The 10 year permit is far too long to provide water to a polluting industry that sends it across Canada creating a huge carbon footprint for this extractive business. This is water mining and dangerous to our health and economy!
As a citizen I am not comfortable providing American investors with a profit based on stealing Canadian water. Granting a permit in this instance is shockingly ridiculous!
