Please do not expand the use of biomass use for the wood pellet industry. We absolutely should not be enhancing a “solution” that is NOT protective of the environment. Burning trees (waste wood and, inevitably, new harvest) is leading us into the exact opposite direction we need to be going in to reduce carbon release and halt the unfolding environmental disaster we’re experiencing. It is time to expand solar and wind solutions, not a “burning” disaster. It is time to retreat from old technology like wood pellet burning.
