Ontario is proposing to temporarily pause the implementation of provisions in the Excess Soil Regulation that came into effect January 1, 2022 until January 1, 2023???
The proposed pause would delay implementation of provisions of a regulation that has already been passed. Ontarians have been waiting for this regulation for some time including several years of discussion to develop consensus between stakeholders and that consensus was established.
I am opposed to pausing the excess soils regulation.
