I enthusiastically support growing the protected areas under the Greenbelt legislation, and encourage the strengthening of the protection for the included lands.
However, as a citizen of Ajax I am very disappointed that the current amendments do not include the upper reaches and headwaters of the Carruthers Creek Watershed. These waters must be included to protect us from flooding and severe storm damage.
Please be sure the Carruthers Creek headwaters are added to the Greenbelt legislation.
