Wahnapitae First Nation objects to the issuance of this permit based on the following:
- lack of information
- alternate options available.
- no base line surveys to determine potential quantities of turtle population.
- no additional species identified that may be affected or harmed; ie Bats, salamanders, frogs etc..
- project scope, design plans, proposed removal design.
- lack of Duty to Consult by proponent.
