Dear provincial government,
We need to save our environment, save farmland, and not pave over workable land for the sake of profit for powerful companies. We can continue to add new housing and add density within our current urban boundaries. As a citizen of Hamilton, I voted to protect the 3,000 acres of farmland around Hamilton. The results of the Hamilton engagement survey, are that 90% chose to save and protect farmland. This issue is settled and we are in compliance with provincial regulations. Please don't put the profits of developers and large companies before the wishes of the constituents who live here. At the end of the day, the powerful companies only care about the maximum profits. Save our farmland!
