Cap and Trade is an important agreement for Ontario residents and businesses. It is not only about checks and balances (though that is an important part) but the responsibility we all have for each other, businesses, residents, and future generations. Businesses and corporations do have to pay and, yes, this could eat into profits but this loss doesn't have to be felt by the workers if responsible people are in charge. Because this decision to repeal this act isn't about the workers, it is about the owners and executives. Keeping Cap and Trade in place benefits the environment, benefits the worker (because sustainability serves us all) and benefits relations with other provinces and trade as a whole. The only group that won't benefit are the ones at top who don't make as much a profit. They'll still make a lot of money but greed begets greed.

I'm asking that the environment, the worker, and future generations are given a boost here, and that Cap and Trade is kept in place.
