Absolutely not! No! Good lord, this government is an abomination! The green belt is PROTECTED farmlands and wetlands that contribute not only to the betterment of Ontarians but to the biodiversity of this planet. They were chosen specifically as those particular areas demonstrated value in being preserved. Destroying them and building ugly townhomes will not only kill numerous current inhabitants but will affect fresh water cycling (which will become a major issue). This is completely irresponsible from an environmental stewardship viewpoint. Go forward with this and you will NEVER have my vote.
