I grew up in Pickering and Ajax especially in the area of dufferins creek where I went on family walks as a kid , fished as a teenager and young adult. I’ve always stood for conservation and continue to support conservation today. This is an absolute travesty that the government of Ontario wants to take away precious green space from areas that were specifically protected from new infrastructure being built. Now all of a sudden they think they can do whatever they want. Well I hope this doesn’t go through and I intend on doing everything I can to help make sure it doesn’t our green spaces need to be protected now more then ever.
