In all due respect, do we really think this is a good idea? Do you know how much we’ve ruined our environment? And now we want to destroy some of the most environmentally valuable and diverse areas in southern Ontario?

I would understand if there was actually nowhere to build houses, but that’s just not true. There are so many other options to build housing in many areas outside of the greenbelt. They won’t make as much money because they are less desired areas, but don’t pretend there isn’t anywhere else to build like this is some sort of crisis. This is about profits. Build up, not out. We’ve been doing this for years and years. Due to the extreme urban sprawl which has swallowed the GTA, we could build unlimited apartment buildings and condos. You could even build more suburbs with this areas.

Please stop ruining what nature we have left.
