Dear Ford Government,

As someone who works in the construction industry in Toronto, moving more construction north into the green belt is not the answer to our current housing crisis. What is need is to push the intensification of the urban areas and to increase the access to public transit. Suburbs increase the traffic on our already overcrowded highways, increase in urban sprawl that is affecting our environment by creating more permeable surfaces, and ruin the sense of community that other major old cities (Montreal, New York, London) all have. Help push for faster approvals in urban core areas and try and fix our current housing affordability crisis.

The Yellow belt is a great place to start, not the Green belt.
