Pulling resources from the goal of reversing climate change is terrifically, fantastically stupid. Even as the first climate refugees appear and microplastics turn up in all our food, commerce has no desire to mitigate its own disastrous impact. That is what government is for. This is a greedy, lazy and dangerous move that puts Ford’s government on the wrong side of history. We can’t allow our existing environmental protections to be dismantled.
