I would like to offer my objections to the Ontario Governments proposal to get rid of the Cap and Trade that was put forth by the previous Government. I believe It is very irresponsible to do away with something that was working and not have a plan in place that will replace it. I have always thought that the Government was to represent the people of the Province and to do what is best for them. What I am now seeing is a Government saying it wasn't my idea so lets do away with it if it works or not.

If you care about our future generation of children and grandchildren and the effect global warming is having on our planet you would not even consider cancelling the Cap and Trade initiative. Statistics have shown that green house gas emissions have been reduced by 50% in Ontario and we can further reduce these emissions if we continue to work at it. Climate change cannot be ignored even for a shot term. Please reconsider this and the legacy we leave our children.
