You politicians should all be ashamed of your proposal. It completely goes against FORDs campaign promises for the EXACT opposite of what you currently propose.
Your proposal is so linear and geared towards your single-family-dwelling-developer-buddies and does not effectively address our supposed housing crisis. The only crisis here is your absolute disregard for The Environment and Ontarians.
Get your hands out of your pockets, yours heads out of the sand and realize that paving over our green space is not what Ontarians want. Your ill-advised and ill-intentioned proposal puts all our precarious and sensitive ecosystems that exist in the Greenbelt is serious danger of collapse.
Building more single-family dwellings on our extremely sensitive and precarious green spaces is NOT the answer.
How is it that so many parcels of this protected land even be ALLOWED to be purchased and owned by developers?
Build UP and build SMART and build ECO.
