Hi I am young 26 year old woman and Registered Nurse.

As far as I can remember the greenbelt has always been protected and is always meant to be protected. I can appreciate that we find ourselves in a difficult housing situation particularly in the GTA. BUT I don't believe touching the greenbelt is the answer.

I would be much more interested in seeing Ontario re-zone office space for high density housing. Surely with more people continuing to work from home there is office space that has become obsolete.

Can we look at preventing foreign purchasing of real estate? I am not well educated on the subject, but I do believe that foreign buyers using Canadian real estate as a means to invest money is a real problem.

In conclusion, please don't touch the greenbelt. There has a be better answer that doesn't erode away protected green space.
