As an Ontarian, I strongly oppose Bill 4.

I want Ontario to be 100% powered by clean energy by 2050 - the advances we make now will put us ahead in the $26 trillion clean economy. If we miss out, our environment and economy will both pay an unbearable price.

Polluters should pay for their emissions and return the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint. There should be no subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies; instead, this money should be redirected to clean energy solutions.

Finally, I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement.
