Wetlands are a significant natural resource to be protected especially considering the number of species at risk and species at risk habitats that it provides for. We need to protect these important resources as they are also very important to Indigenous communities. They are irreplaceable and cannot be recreated. They help reduce flooding and encourage infiltration back into the groundwater. Please keep them protected. We need our wetlands.
