I do not want Bill 4 to be cancelled. It is not right for adults to be poor stewards of the environment. We must protect the air, land and water for our children and future generations. Not only will this require making the environment a priority but also using legislation to work hard to reverse decades of reckless and damaging practices. To place short term benefits for the few over the longterm survival and health of the many is insanity and certainly this should not be supported by governments whose role should be to represent and look out for all citizens. It will be the forward-thinking governments that invest in green industries that will be powerful in the future. It is critical that we prioritize protecting our climate and environment and incentivize and invest in green industries and alternatives.
