The whole point of the greenbelt was to discourage sprawl and encourage densification. This project does little to help the housing crisis compared to many better alternatives. This project will bring unnecessary costs to transportation and furthers the climate crisis. We need to look at how to get rid of cars and how to have the least amount of travel for goods and services. This project literally requires a whole new highway to be built (now we finally know why he decided to build an unnecessary highway in the middle of nowhere). Please stop throwing away our future so you can make a few bucks. The people are suffering, people are going hungry, people are dying in hospital waiting rooms. I work 3 jobs to afford to just get by. Meanwhile you are making shady deals with people that are rich and adding more money to your wealth. Please grow a heart and do what you were elected to do.
